Reintroducing employees to the workplace
Many employers assume that the remote working conditions currently being enforced are merely temporary in nature, that these measures are simply being used to manage the spread of the Coronavirus. The expectation being that we will all eventually get back to standard working practice. The reality is that the expression “business as usual” has become a misnomer – for better or worse nothing will be the same post - pandemic.
This has served as an experiment of sorts – with organisations now being able to assess their readiness in terms of incorporating remote working as a viable practice for employees. Some forms of work, however, do not allow for remote working and as such most organisations will have at least part of their workforce returning to a central place of work. The question that then needs to be asked is - what does that mean by way of Policy, Practice, and Procedure?
We have established several protocols to assist organisations with the smooth integration of workers back into the workplace.
These include - return to work policy, regulations & compliance surrounding the amendment to policies based on Covid-19 regulations, the launch of Phase 2 of our Support programme & a Repository of resources to ensure that our clients have easy access to relevant & up to date information.
As the Country starts to prepare for the further opening of the economy and entry into Level 3, it becomes necessary to shift our focus. Areas of interest include skills development, leadership and company culture.
We are a social species and this time has been one of mental, physical and emotional stress – all of which needs to be addressed if organisations are to thrive in the future – We can help you get there.
We have established a bespoke solution in the form of a COVID crew.
