Job Description

Our client, who has been in the Eastern Cape for the past 70 years supplying control instrument products (CCTV/IP Cameras/T&A/Access) to industry is looking for a qualified and experienced individual to join their team.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Technical training or certification in IT, Networking or Electronics is required
• Relevant IT qualification is essential
• Valid Drivers License with own car
• Must be willing to travel within the Eastern Cape

Responsibilities:

• Basic understanding of wireless technology and networking fundamentals
• Experience in IT hardware, crimping and cable management
• Familiarity with CCTV, IP Cameras, VOIP, T&A systems, Access control
• Knowledge in the programming of biometrics
• Troubleshoot
• Resolve basic network problems (IP conflicts, firewall/router configurations)
• Install CCTV, IP Cameras, T&A systems, Access control for various clients within different industries
• Set up, and manage access points, switches and network infrastructures
• Provide end-user support and training on IT and the various security systems
