BSc ENGINEER - SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER - DO-178 and DO-252

Salary: R 100 - 120K TCTC p/m

The opportunity - In support of the above and in anticipation of evolving customer needs, we are embarking on the technology development of a satellite communications modem, based on software defined radio principles, able to host the waveforms of leading satellite communications service providers. The goal is to develop a flexible platform to give THE CLIENT the agility to meet the current and future needs of the challenging aviation satellite communications market.

Senior Project Manager

Key tasks

• Plan, execute and control project tasks allocated to various disciplines to ensure delivery within the allocated timeline and processes to ensure quality and cost effectiveness
• Develop the overall budget including staffing requirements

Mandatory requirements

• Minimum 5 - 10 years Project Management experience
• Experience owning program strategy with end to end delivery and communicating results to senior management.
• Electrical or Electronic Eng with a project management certification or training
• ADV - Experience in an electronic/high-tech environment is highly desirable
• ADV - Experience in an aerospace environment and knowledge of SW and HW development processes such as DO-178 and DO-252
