Our client, a well-established, specialized financial services group is looking for a qualified and experienced individual to join their team in Gqeberha
Requirements:
- B.Com Accounting Degree is required
- 3-5yrs operational management experience in the financial services industry is essential
- MS Office literate
- Valid Drivers License with own transport
Responsibilities:
- Overall leadership and responsibility for the effective and efficient management of the Company's incentives division
- Medium to long term HR plan. Defining staff requirements, recognizing areas of vulnerability and taking cognisance of succession planning.
- Preparing of job profiles / specifications and key performance areas along with key measurement areas.
- Selection, training, career-pathing and motivation of personnel.
- Planning, organizing, leading and controlling personnel.
- Ensuring that the staff are fairly and appropriately treated and rewarded.
- Encourage growth and development of all personnel on an ongoing basis.
- Authorise staff leave, overtime and claims
- Conduct disciplinary enquiries / hearings
- Staff performance appraisals
- Meet with staff on a weekly basis
- Attainment of Budgets / Forecasts.
- Monitor all income and expenses.
- Monitor attainment of income budgets set with consultants
- Monthly income reconciliations
- Ensure that all audit fees, monthly and quarterly invoicing is done.
- Check and sign all invoices prepared by consultants.
- Compile a weekly report to COO and Management summarising WIP, client visits, PRC funding and invoicing
- Monitor throughput and plan claims activity to ensure prescriptions are avoided.
- Assist Consultants to apply for APDP EPC permits
- Assist Consultants with the EU Declarations
- Attend weekly/monthly client Telecons
- Compile bi-weekly reports to auditors and other external stakeholders
