Our national client, who offers bespoke financial solutions to clients is looking for a qualified and experienced individual to join their team in the claims division.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Min 5yrs experience within a clearing/forwarding environment with knowledge of customs documentation and requirements OR
• Within an automotive component customs environment with working knowledge of APDP regulations would be ideal
• Advanced Excel skills
• Valid Drivers License with own transport

Responsibilities:

• Administer all aspects relative to the preparation of APDP claims, Duty Drawbacks, Form C2 and SMD certificates, EU and SADC declarations and any new product offerings
• Gathering information from clients
• Submission of complete claim documents, SMD Certificates, Form C2's, EU and SADC declarations to the relevant parties (ITAC, Customs or the Original Equipment Manufacturers)
• Attainment of budget/forecasts for submission of PI claims, Form C2 and SMD's, EU and SADC declarations and 521,522, 536 and Tyre Levy claims
• Conduct investigations to ensure that maximizing claimable benefits
• Invoicing
• Prompt emailing of invoices to clients
• Claims administration
