Our client, who has been in the Eastern Cape for the past 70 years supplying control instrument products to industry is looking for a qualified and experienced individual to join their team.

Must be willing to travel within the Eastern Cape region

Requirements:

• Relevant Degree in Information Technology
• Focusing on Camera/CCTV industry
• Valid Drivers License with own car is required
• Min 5yrs experience as a Network Engineer focusing on the Camera/CCTV industry
• Hands on experience with network hardware and software
• Strong understanding of network concepts, protocols and technologies

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing, implementing and managing computer networks focusing on the camera/CCTV industry
• Configuring switches
• Creating and monitoring networks within the camera industry
• Planning and building infrastructure
• Maintaining network systems
• Troubleshoot network problems, diagnose causes, and implement solutions
• Provide technical support to their clients
• Stay updated on networking technologies, including trends, and best practices
