Job Description

Our client, a multinational manufacturer of steam products and systems is looking for a qualified and experienced individual to join their team to utilize your engineering skills to assist customers identify process efficiencies, enhance safety, and increase sustainability.

Requirements:

• Trade certificate as a Millwright or Mechanical Fitter & Turner is required
• 5yrs proven experience with an instrumentation background is essential
• Knowledge of valves and steam systems
• Valid Drivers License with own transport

Responsibilities:

• Operates machinery to assemble and dismantle equipment, using hand tools, power tools or machinery
• Dismantles machinery for repair or salvage, using torch, cutting torch and welding machine
• Performs welding operations on structural steam systems, pumps etc.
• Operates machinery, using automatic tools and operating devices
• Repairs or replaces defective electrical wiring, motors, compressors, pumps or other electrical equipment on the steam systems
• Assembling, installing, and maintaining of the steam systems
• Fitting and machining precision components
• Welding, cutting, and grinding various materials
• Diagnosing and repairing faults with tools and machinery
