R & D Assistant

This position will report to the Business development manager

To be considered, you need:

• Grade 12 or similar
• At least 2 - 5 years of experience in a similar capacity
• Computer literate
• Good communication and numerical skills

Your duties will include:

• Scaling of samples for clients and food
• Making of sample labels, samples advice note and address label to accompany the samples.
• Managing the stock of raw materials for the R&D kitchen and order from the factory in time (including packaging materials).
• Managing administrative tasks by filing relevant information for future
• Good communication skills to liaise with sales reps and food technologists
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by cleaning as you
• Ensuring safe & confidential storage of company's
• Assist with blending of ingredients & products which can't be manufactured by the factory, within a reasonable lead time as & when needed.
