A well established, multinational manufacturer is looking for a qualified and experienced individual to join their team

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification - National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a B.Tech Degree in Quality
• Qualified trade - either Toolmaker / Mechanical
• CMM Measuring / 3D Scanning
• Quality specific training in VDA6.3, IATIF16949, Core Tools and CSR's
• Min 5yrs experience in a Metrology Lab in a factory/manufacturing environment
• Valid Drivers License and own transport

Responsibilities:

• Prepare APQP/PPAP/ISIR documentation according to customer requirements
• Create measuring programs for measurement of the various products
• Conduct routine testing and product audits
• Calibration
• Draft and follow MSA Plan relative to required R&R studies
• Conduct capability studies
• Documentation and recording thereof
• Understand CMM measuring equipment

Ability to read/interpret technical drawings

Ability to work under pressure
