A well established, multinational manufacturer is looking for a qualified and experienced individual to join their team and be responsible for operations within the manufacturing plant (melting division)

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification (minimum NQF Level 6) in Production/Engineering/Quality is required
• Trade Tested/qualified Artisan would be advantageous
• Minimum 10yrs Foundry/Melting experience is essential
• Min 5yrs supervisory/management experience within manufacturing is required

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the entire operations of a manufacturing plant
• Management and co-ordination of daily activities to always ensure high performance and production
• Direct and coordinate daily operations
• Oversee all levels of staff activity and performance (onboarding and management)
• Develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance
• Ensure company policies and procedures are always followed
• Monitor and maintain equipment
