Qualifications:

• BTech/Bachelors degree in Chemistry or related
• Must be willing to work extended hours including weekends and public holidays as when necessary

Requirements:

• 2- 4 years experience in a laboratory environment.
• Analytical testing experience in a lab environment
• Assist Quality Manager to ensure business compliance policies and procedures are adhered to
• Ensure QC/QA responsibilities are done on a daily basis
• Maintain control of retention samples in the QC lab
• Assist in opening and investigating of internal and external NCRs
• Assist with writing and revising Standard Operationg Procedures for lab testing procedures
• Maintain and use equipment assigned to the department
• Manage consumables and chemicals used in the laboratory
• Daily inspection of warehouse and factory
• Institute controls for raw materials, packaging and finished goods and engage with shop floor to ensure adherence to quality targets
• Work with production team to sample and test raw materials, packaging and finished product
• Issue Certificates of Analysis/Conformance timeously
• Manage safe keeping and disposal of samples and paper records
