Our client, a well-established, engineering manufacturing company is looking for a qualified and experienced individual to oversee the full HR function within the business.
Requirements:
- Matric
- Relevant HR Diploma or Degree is required
- Valid Driver's License with own transport
- Min 5yrs experience in HR management within a similar industry is essential
- SDF qualification would be advantageous
Responsibilities:
- Talent Management and Recruitment
- Responsible for co-ordination efforts between payroll, human resources and other departments to ensure optimal flow and maintenance of employees data i.e. labour hours, overtime, leave balances, head count etc
- Maintain employee records
- Co-ordinate the activities of the Employment Equity Committee with reporting including EEA2 and EEA4 reporting
- Maintain the full recruitment process
- Manage limited duration contracts
- Control and record any leave, sick leave and absenteeism
- Terminations
- Industrial relations - Disciplinary hearings, procedural adherence and all disciplinary action including MEIBC hearings if required
- Training and Skills Development Facilitator - Tracking of Mandatory and Discretionary grants, Co-ordinate activities of Training Committee, Develop Workskills Plan, Ensure the generation of any document submissions required by the Department of Labour, the relevant SETA or any other body
- Responsible for the implementation of Learnerships and Apprenticeships
- Maintain and update all relevant policies as per any updates to Labour Law
- Ad-hoc HR projects
