A well established, multinational manufacturer is looking for a qualified and experienced individual who is sales focused and target driven to represent the company to Sales Channel Partners and can gain market share!
Must be willing to travel extensively - Sub-Saharan region
Requirements:
- National Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5yrs external sales experience focusing on Sales Channel Partners & 3rd party Distributors
- 3yrs external sales experience working in an international environment
- 3yrs external technical sales experience
- Valid Drivers License with your own car
- Valid Passport
- MS Office literate
Responsibilities:
- Represent the company to the accounts and the Sales Channel Partners including 3rd party Distributors
- Establishment and optimization of sales strategies for the assigned geographic area (Sales channels, Sales organizations, target markets, products etc.)
- Regular visits to the main decision makers within the account/sales channel partner to establish solid contacts for ongoing business
- Tender management - coordinates sales force and other resources, order follow up for the relationship management
- Drive large projects or business solutions and services
- Manage national accounts and purchase organizations
- Promotional activities i.e. congresses, advertisements, training etc.
- Customer relationship management
- Market share
- Determine customer/sales channel partner's needs
- Determine action plan for budget achievement
- ROI on actions in the accounts by Sales Channel Partner
- Implementation and monitoring of funnel/forecast management
- Contract conformity between Sales Channel Partners and the company
