Our fast-paced FMCG client who sells into various retail outlets in South Africa is looking for a qualified and experienced individual to join their team!

Ideal candidate will be responsible for working with Senior Management/Directors to develop financial strategies/processes for the company.

Requirements:

  • Matric
  • Relevant Financial/Accounting degree/qualification is required
  • 5yrs Financial Management/Accounting experience in the FMCG/Retail industry is essential
  • Pastel/Sage experience (including Advanced Excel)
  • Valid Drivers License with own car

Responsibilities:

  • Full accounting/bookkeeping function for the company
  • Lead Finance Meetings
  • Monthly accounting forecasts
  • Monthly finance reporting
  • Full debtors function
  • Full creditors function
  • Inventory - FIFO systems implemented, Inventory and Purchase Order Management
  • Intercompany - Invoicing/payments, Internal journals, Bank Recon's, Overview of expenses vs budgets, VAT processing
  • Assist with budget preparation
  • Assist with annual audits
  • Manage a team
