You will be joining:

Our client, a Waste Management company is looking for a Logistics Manager to join their team to ensure all vehicles are maintained and maximise productivity of the vehicles.

Your role:

• Ensure all vehicles and trailers are maintained
• Improve productivity in all vehicles
• Monitor fuel usage
• Reduce costs and maximise profits
• Book loads
• Toolbox talks with drivers and assistants
• Liaise with fleet controller
• Ensure appropriate stock of bins are available at all times
• Report customer complaints
• Check all route sheets
• Brief drivers daily
• Ensure all booked loads are completed
• Investigate incidences or accidents
• Ensure drivers are trained to deal with hazardous materials

To thrive in this role you will need:

• Matric
• Degree/ Diploma in Road Transport/ Logistics Management
• 5 years' experience in Transport/Logistics or Fleet Management
• Valid drivers license & own vehicle (code 14)
• Experience in Hazardous good handling
