Job Description

Our client, a specialist in pioneering solutions within the built environment, specializing in HVAC, energy, electronic services and building management services is looking for a qualified and experienced individual to join their Design/Contracts team in JHB.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical/electrical or industrial) with a minimum of 5yrs experience in the HVAC industry.
• OR a N6 or B. Tech in a mechanical related field with a minimum of 7yrs experience in the HVAC industry
• Proficiency in central HVAC plant, chillers, ducting, and piping systems
• Experience in project management
• AutoCAD/Revit experience is advantageous
• Valid Driver's License is required

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the design, development, and project management of HVAC projects in the Gauteng region
• Providing sustainable and energy efficient solutions tailored to the client's needs
• Design, estimate and propose HVAC solutions aligned with customer requirements
• Offer technical expertise and guidance on HVAC strategies and sustainable practices to clients and internal stakeholders
• Oversee HVAC projects in the Gauteng region
• Manage construction documentation, financial controls, quality assurance and commissioning verification
• Conduct routine site checks, monitor/manage staff, and provide ongoing feedback and reporting
• Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in HVAC, energy management and sustainability
